The last home game on the season, Seedorf is having problems with the defence as two of the three centre-backs are out of the game. The rival is having a busy week and still trying to secure the Europa League spot.

Deportivo play the last home game of the season as Villareal CF visit the Riazor on Saturday (18h30 CET). With the team already relegated to Segunda the interest is more focused in other subjects like the arrival of Carmelo Del Pozo or the possibility of having elections in the coming months.

Back to the training pitch, coach Clarence Seedorf is having problems at the centre of the defence. Sidnei Rechel remains sidelined with a thigh injury, while Fabian Schär picked the fifth yellow card of the season in the derby and therefore he is suspended for this match.

So, with Raúl Albentosa as the only centre-back available, Seedorf will have to improvise and the option tested during the trainings is Fernando Navarro. The right-back veteran is used to perform at the centre of the defence.

Another option is Juvenil A Mujaid Sadick. As Seedorf announced on last week, the 18-year-old centre-back has been training with the first team during the week and it’s probable that he could be picked for the match.

There’s a third man missing the game at the Riazor: Eneko Bóveda. The right-back is out since the home game with SD Eibar (March 03), in that game he suffered a grade II-III muscle injury on his left thigh. On this week he started to work on the pitch, but he won’t play in any of the remaining two games on the campaign.

On Thursday, Fede Cartabia skipped the session due to a hamstring problem. He will be tested on Friday in order to determine if he could be fit for the game. Emre Çolak was having muscle issues, but he is already recovered.

It has been a busy week for Villareal CF. The Valencians haven’t secured yet the Europa League spot after been trashed by FC Barcelona on Wednesday (5-1). And with their last game been against Real Madrid, they know that the visit to Depor is vital in their European aspirations.

Coach Javier Calleja made some rotations for the visit to the Camp Nou and will make more changes for the visit to the Riazor. The only casualty at the squad is midfielder Bruno Soriano, who has missed the entire season due to a knee injury. Right-back Antonio Rukavina returns after skipping the game with FC Barcelona due to suspension.
