The club informed on Tuesday that Clarence Seedorf will not continue on next season, the Dutchman said good-bye in Instagram.

Deportivo will have a new coach for the Segunda season, on Tuesday the club informed that Clarence Seedorf will not continue –his contract expires on June 30- and that a coach with “experience” in liga 1|2|3 is going to be hired.

In the last two weeks, Seedorf had expressed his will continue, but before saying more he wanted to know the plans of the club. But it was clear since the landing of Carmelo Del Pozo that other options will be searched.

The Dutchman replaced Cristóbal Parralo after the debacle at Real Sociedad (5-0), at the time the team was leaving negative feelings, but was only three points below safety. With him on board, Depor played sixteen league meetings, only won twice, drew six games and lost eight meetings. Depor ended relegated and fourteen points below the salvation.

An hour after the news was released, Seedorf wrote on his Twitter account, "No words can explain the disappointment of missing the goal to maintain the Club in La Liga. The same way no words can describe what a pleasure and privilege it has been to work with this group of players and staff at RC Deportivo and to have been able to feel the fans in the atmosphere of Riazor was magical . As my term with Depor ends today I can say that I leave a city whose people have embraced me warmly from day one. I've gained new friends and I thank you all from my heart. Forza Dépor."
