Domingos Duarte debuted, Depor didn’t have any problem to dispatch a rival that barely attacked. Borja Valle, Diego Caballo and Uxio Dapena scored the goals.

Fourth friendly game on the pre-season. The rival was UP Langreo, a club from Segunda B. Coach Natxo González kept playing with a 4-3-2-1 figure. New signing Domingos Duarte was picked for the game despite only completing one training session with the team.

Good game by Deportivo, the Galicians always controlled the ball possession and were passing the ball without major problems, but the situation was changing at the moment of reaching the rival’s area, because they failed to create scoring chances, at least in large stages of the first part.

Langreo’s only chance in the first half was a header of Aimar that missed the target (5’). The first shot of Depor was an attempt of Cartabia blocked by keeper Adrián Torre (14’). The situation started to change at minute 20 as Depor started to have more depth.

Carles Gil was close to score through a crossed shot that missed the target (21’), then Borja Valle was close to score with a new crossed shot that went wide (26’). The first goal came at the end o the first half. After a series of crosses and rebounds, Krohn-Dehli got the ball at the right side of the area and released a high volley that Borja Valle headed into the net.

Natxo made two changes at half-time, Álex Bergantiños and Quique González replaced Mosquera and Borja Valle. Again, Depor didn’t face major opposition at the moment of controlling the ball possession, then Dubarbier was close to score at minute 52 with a shot blocked by a rival.

Then the major part of the change occurred, Diego Caballo, Domingos Duarte, Edu Expósito, Eneko Bóveda and Gerard Valentín entered the pitch, the latter was returning after missing big part of the pre-season due to an injury. Domingos Duarte was debuting, but not too much was seen of him as the rival wasn’t attacking.

Quique González could have scored at minute 60, but substitute keeper Imanol Elías deflected his short-range effort. Depor continued controlling the game and Diego Caballo found the second goal after been assisted by Cartabia.

Saúl García, Pedro Sánchez and Uxío Dapena were the last three changes, so keeper Ortolá was the only one that played the entire match. Uxio was going to score the third goal, just only one minute after entering the pitch. Pedro Sánchez brought the assist and the striker didn’t miss from close range.
