Depor return to the Riazor tying to forget the bad taste left by the referees, Natxo has five casualties and has to watch the game from the stands. The rival has its own problems with the salary cap.

Referee: Daniel Jesús Trujillo Suárez
Kick-off: 16h00 CET (Riazor)

CF Reus might seem like a candidate to relegation and is only three points above the pit, but it’s a dangerous team playing away from home. They have added 7 points after 5 visits, the third best mark in the league only below Deportivo (9) and AD Alcorcón (8). Actually, the Catalans are one of the two teams that have added more points on the road than at home (7 Vs. 5).

Meanwhile, Deportivo is the seventh best team at home after only dropping two points in four home meetings. The Galicians represent one of the eight teams that remain undefeated at home. Los Blanquiazules have spent five straight games without losing, it’s the second-best current streak in the league only below AD Alcorcón (8).

The Deportivismo is feeling persecuted by the referees, after only ten matchdays the team has already seen five red cards, which seems inconsistent with the fact of been the third team will lesser fouls in the league (127), only below CF Reus (120) and Cádiz CF (123).

For this game coach Natxo González is missing centre-back Pablo Mari and striker Borja Valle after been sent off in the past game with Córdoba CF. The coach himself will have to watch the actions from the stands as he also saw a red card.

Team news: Apart from the suspension of Pablo Mari and Borja Valle, there are three players at the injury room: Fede Cartabia, Sebastián Dubarbier and Michael Krohn-Dehli. Didier Moreno s back and Gerard Valentin is he only man for tactical reasons.

Man to watch: Centre-back Michele Somma. The Italian pleased with his game in Copa, but the performance of Pablo Mari and Domingos Duarte has left him on the bench for the league meetings. Now he will have his first chance as a starter in liga and wants to seize it.

Picked players: (18) Dani Giménez, Adrián Ortolá (goalkeepers); David Simón, Domingos Duarte, Michele Somma, Bóveda, Saúl García, Diego Caballo (defenders); Edu Expósito, Álex Bergantiños, Pedro Mosquera, Vicente Gómez, Pedro Sánchez, Didier Moreno, Carles Gil (midfielders); Quique González, Carlos Fernández & Christian Santos (attackers)

Predicted lineup: (4-3-1-2) Dani Giménez – David Simón, Somma, Domingos Duarte, Saúl – Álex Bergantiños, Vicente Gómez, Edu Expósito – Carles Gil – Quique González, Carlos Fernández.

Catalan club CF Reus needed €3 million in order to increase their salary cap and inscribe the players they wanted for this season, but failed to complete an increase of capital operation and had to dismiss two players, while three men train with the team, but cannot be inscribed in la liga until the winter window.

They also had to transfer the top-scorer of last season, Dejan Lekić (8 goals), and one of their best midfielders, Alberto Ruiz ‘Tito’, left the club upset as he couldn’t be inscribed. Yoda, Vitor and ex-Depor Isaac Cuenca ae the players training with the first team and that expect to be inscribed in January.

In the end coach Xavi Bartolo only has sixteen players available at the first team, so he always has to pick someone from the B squad in order to fill the gaps. The main problems are in attack as Miguel Linares is the only striker at the squad.

Team news: There are three casualties for injury reasons: centre-back Mikel Villanueva (knee) plus wingers Ricardo Vaz and David Querol (both muscle). There are five B team players in the roster, three of them are expected to start (Guerrero, Gonzalo Pereira and Planas).

Man to watch: Striker Miguel Linares. The only natural forward at the team has scored four goals on the season (3 in liga and 1 in Copa). He is currently in form as those four goals were scored within his last six presentations with the team.

Picked players: (18) Edgard Badia, Pol (goalkeepers): Jesús, Olmo, Ángel Bastos, Adrián Guerrero, Alejandro Catena, Borja Herrera, Marti Vila, Shaq Moore (defenders); Gonzalo Pereira, Gus Ledes, Mario Ortíz, Juan Domínguez, Álex Carbonell (midfielders); Linares, Alfred Planas, Fran Carbiá & Rubén Enri (attackers)

Predicted lineup: (5-3-2) Edgar Badia – Ángel Bastos, Catena, Jesús Olmo, Gónzalo Pereira, Guerrero – Juan Domínguez, Gus Ledes, Mario Ortíz – Alfred Planas, Linares.
