Everyone was content with the goalless draw, because both sides added point, but especially for how the teams sought for the victory.

Coach Natxo Gonzálezwas commenting the performance of his team, “We never give as good a draw, we always search for the victory; it was the same today. We didn’t do it and later you analyze how things went. We competed well, we were fine in some moments. I believe we did things to deserve a goal. I liked the team in a general sense.”

Later he explained the last change as Depor started to play with three centre-backs, “It was a variant that we had prepared, we talked about it at half-time as we saw the game was moving in that direction. They were damaging us with the changes of direction, we were arriving late, and later to release Saúl and Valentín in attack.”

The Basque man didn’t wan to talk of the state of the pitch, but explained the two injuries suffered by his team, “I won’t waste time in something I cannot control. About the injuries, Edu [Expósito] had a muscle issue, and Carlos [Fernández] a hamstring problem. He [Carlos Fernández] was having issues and asked for the substitution trying to avoid bigger problems. I guess he will pass scans.”

Asked about the performance of Dani Giménez, the comment was, “He is a great guy and besides is a keeper that knows how to make saves. The keepers are there to give points and Dani Giménez is there when you need him.”

Finally, Natxo was talking of the need to win the away games, “You need to win away and at home, there’s no other way in this league. What I can tell you is that I am going home much calmer after the previous away games. The useful thing is the way you achieve the results, the result is fine, but the important thing s how you do things.”

Dani Giménez was content with the performance of the team, “We, the keepers, are there to make saves. I made one or two saves and their keeper also make saves that prevented our goal. I am content as the team matched the expectations. We improved the performance of previous visits. We need to win away from home, but the feeling is that the team was better than in previous visits.”

Didier Moreno was commenting the game, “I think it was a nice spectacle for the people attending to the stadium, it was a disputed game in a tough pitch. Both sides had chances and in the end we added a point. The keepers made saves and each side got a point.”

The Colombian midfielder was also satisfied with the performance of the team, “We lacked a goal to achieve the victory, but I am content for the work done by the team. It allows us to continue at the top positions. When you add on the road then you need to win at home. We hope to continue in the same direction.”

At Rayo Majadahonda, coach Antonio Iriondo was content with what he saw, “The team played with the same intensity, we changed the pitch, but the intensity was the same.  The result is always fair, we needed to make more things in order to win. What occurs to me is that we needed to chain the keeper to one post, because he made a great game. We did a lot of good things today, even to shot on target. We faced a great team, one that knows how to attack and also how to defend. We saw a great game between two sides wanting to play. For me it was a great game.”
