With one week remaining in the summer window, Depor have almost completed the squad, but there are four pending issues, from completing the exits to find a U-23 player.

The summer transfer window will close its doors on October 5. Deportivo have practically closed the squad at this point, but there are four pending issues for Richard Barral:

1- The exits: Vicente Gómez, Somma and Fede Cartabia will not play with Depor on the new season. Vicente was already announced by Kerala Blasters FC from the Indian Super League, but the club is still listing him as part of the squad. Same situation than Somma, who said good-bye on Thursday. In the case of Cartabia, the club is still trying to close his exit to Saudi Arabia. There’s also the case of Diego Rolán, who isn’t even in the city as the Uruguayan is searching for a club.

2- Keko Gontán: The Madrilenian winger wants to continue at Depor, but his presence on the new seasons remains to be doubtful. He signed for one year and the renewal was depending on the permanence. The club offered a new deal to him and it was said that he was going to accept it, but there are comments of offers coming from Asia and the club hasn’t closed his continuity yet. His exit would move the club to sign another player.

3- A new centre-back: The exit of Somma is leaving the team with only two centre-backs (Mujaid and Borja Granero). Álex Bergantiños and Juan Rodríguez can cover the slot too, but the club wants another man for the spot.

4- The sixth U-23 player: Deportivo need to inscribe six U-23 players at Segunda B, currently it already have five: Luis Alberto 'Lucho' García (22), Iago Gandoy (21), Jorge Valín (20), Mujaid Sadick (20) and José Antonio Lara (20). The comment is that it could be an attacker or the centre-back to be signed on the coming days, the other options is to promote a player from Fabril like the cases of Juan Rodríguez or Adrián Castro.
