The summer transfer window ends today. Deportivo have three slots available and search for a centre-back and a winger. If the club sings three more players, one of them must be U-23.

The summer transfer window ends today at Primera, Segunda and Segunda División B. Deportivo have 19 players at the first team and there are 3 slots available; the club is expected to make moves in this last frame of the market.

Deportivo still searching for a centre-back that will join Mujaid and Borja Granero. The club announced on Sunday that Juan Rodríguez has signed a contract extension (2+2), but the young defender will remain at Fabril for the season 2020/21 and the first team needs a third man for the spot.

It's also expected that Depor will try to sign a new winger. Keko Gontán and Lara demonstrated that they will be important on the sides, but the game against Bergantiños CF left the idea that at least one more winger is needed in order to cover possible casualties.

It’s not sure at this point if the club will try to sign a third man on deadline day, but in case of doing it, it must be a U-23 player. The rules at Segunda B say that only 16 men above that age can be inscribed, which means that if Depor wants a full squad with 22 men, then 6 of them must be U-23.

In terms of exits, the club is only waiting to announce the sale of Diego Rolán. The deal with Nîmes Olympique seemed imminent, but hasn’t been confirmed yet. Keko Gontán should also stay after receiving offers from Asia.
